Liberty Village of Tomah

Liberty Village Assisted Living has been a blessing both for my Husband & myself during this time of our lives. Knowing that he is being well taken care of and has bonded with the Staff members is very important. To know that his living space is his own, to be alone in it or to join others if he wants to visit or to go to the many special events that are held there. Music is brought in as well as children from the dance studio to perform. The enjoyment & smiles that the residents have is a gift in itself. They also have weekly Church services. There is a nurse on staff as well as others who are checking on everyone to make sure they are o.k & to give help if needed. Their meals are a visiting time in the dining room area where they sit & chat before & after as well as comfortable seating, an lV to watch if they care to stay in that area & enjoy the nature of the outdoors. Deer that come in to feed, rabbits that come in to nibble at the grass & birds outside that raise their young in the nests & trees nearby. If you feel there are issues, the staff is always there to help. We are so fortunate to have a place in Tomah that provides all of these services.

At the beginning of 2018, I had to make a very difficult decision concerning my Mother and disabled younger sister. As my Mother had always been my sister’s caregiver, circumstances abruptly changed in 2016 when Mom underwent major heart surgery and could no longer take care of her. We tried everything to keep them in their home, but it became obvious that it was becoming increasingly difficult to do that as my sister’s condition began to deteriorate. I contacted a senior service agency and was directed to Liberty Village Assisted Living Facility. From my first visit to Liberty Village, I was impressed by not only the warmth of the facility but the genuine friendliness of the staff. I took my Mother to also tour the premises and look at what could possibly be their new apartment. Mom was just as impressed as I was, so in March, she and my sister became residents of Liberty Village. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to the wonderful people who have dedicated their lives to those who live at Liberty Village. All the staff members are caring, gentle, and extremely respectful of the residents and their needs. For the first time in two years, I have not worried about the welfare of my loved ones. They are happy, enjoy the companionship of the other residents, have fun with the activities that are provided for them, and like the variety of meals that are prepared each day. Having visited other facilities where loved ones of my friends have lived over the years, I can honestly say that I would recommend Liberty Village to anyone and everyone who is looking for that perfect place for that special someone in their life to spend their days without worry or stress.

Our Mother was only there a short time, before she passed. But everyone was so welcoming and as came quickly when called. The office staff was outstanding answering all our question.

This is a wonderful place! Staff are kind and helpful.

My Dad has enjoyedLiberty Village since he moved in. He’s very comfortable, enjoys the workers and all the staff. Jayna the director is always very helpful with any questions we have, she does an amazing job. There are always wonderful activities for the people living there. Everyone is always helpful and very friendly. The cooks and dining room workers are wonderful and seem to have fun with everyone, always greet them and know them by name. The cleaners also do a great job. I’m so thankful for the care my Dad receives and the wonderful atmosphere of Liberty Village.
